Singaporean organisation Resurgence has renewed its partnership with computer manufacturer Lenovo for a second year.
The renewed deal will provide Resurgence with financial support to focus on investing in its roster of players and content creators.
The partnership will also attempt to cultivate a wider interest in esports and gaming in Singapore, a city-state that has received significant investment in the past few years.
Jayf Soh, Founder and CEO of Resurgence, spoke on the continuation in a release: “Resurgence has enjoyed a strong relationship with Lenovo and we are thankful for the opportunity to continue working together in 2020. The dedication to style and performance of Lenovo Legion has always resonated with Resurgence’s own vision, and their products are a welcome addition in the facilities offered to our players and content creators.”
Lenovo first worked with Resurgence in 2019 to enable upgrades to its training facilities. It remains on the organisation’s roster of partners alongsideRazer, PVP by Singtel, Secretlab, SCAPE Co. Ltd, and Wanyoo Cyber Cafe.
Ronnie Lee, General Manager at Lenovo Singapore, added: “It has been a pleasure to work with Resurgence over the last year, and we look forward to working more collaboratively in the upcoming year. Beyond bringing immersive gaming experiences to our users through Legion devices, Lenovo is also committed to engaging the growing community of local gamers. Together with Resurgence, we aim at nurturing the rising popularity of esports and gaming in Singapore as more gamers, both casual and professional, enter the space.”
Esports Pocket says: The esports scene in Singapore has been growing in recent years and it’s great to see Resurgence secure the services of Lenovo for a second year. It will be interesting to see how to two parties collaborate to cultivate a wider interest in esports throughout the area.
