DOTA 2

The prize pool of The International 2020 Dota 2 tournament has exceeded RM107 million ($25 million) – just 38 days after the start of the sale of Battle Pass 2020. Last year, the prize pool of The International at the same time period only amounted to RM78 million ($18.3 million).

The first jump in the growth of The International 2020 prize pool took place on June 24 when Valve released the annual sale with the Battle Pass 2020 levels. The second jump began on July 3 when The International 2020 Collector’s Cache came out in the game. It includes 18 sets that received the largest number of votes from the owners of Battle Pass 2020.

Valve previously extended the Battle Pass 2020 for two weeks – until September 19th. So the company “apologized” for problems with the game coordinator, which were not solved within a few days.
